VisualAudio® 2.5 Designer Software is a graphical PC application for creating audio processing networks using a block diagram paradigm. It is used by the audio engineer to design, configure, and tune audio processing layouts. It can use audio processing functions supplied in the VisualAudio Standard Mode Library, VisualAudio add-on module packs, or custom-written modules.

Features include real-time FFT display, filter response plots, real-time tuning, presets support, easy layout partability between processors, real-time MIPS profiling, optimized buffer reuse, and automation API for third-party design, test, and GUI applications.

VisualAudio provides a standard library of audio modules for SHARC and Blackfin processors that support a variety of common functions ranging from primitives, such as mixers, filters, and delays, to moderately complex modules, such as cascaded biquad filters, reverbs, equilization, and muscial effects. Add-on modules packs are available providing control-rate signal processing, high precision filters, musical effects, frequency domain processing and advanced filter design.
