In less than a month, we'll be heading east to Rockville, Maryland for this year's Capital Audio Fest. If you are in the DC area or willing to travel, it's another great opportunity to step into a room to listen to the music you love on the latest and greatest equipment live and up close.
Listening to Different Demos Helps You Learn What You Like
Listening to the numerous demos, with all the varieties of equipment combinations and price points, is your best opportunity to hear and understand what appeals to YOU. What you hear is not what I hear and subsequently, what you like might not be what I like. I firmly believe that's why there is so much variety and variation in the audio equipment we all use to enhance and perfect our ideal listening experience.
When you stop into Room 708 at the Capital Audio Fest, you'll have to opportunity to listen to the dspNexus 2/8 paired with active crossovers for the Magnepan MG10/QR speakers along with the new Hollis Audio Labs (HAL) Open Baffle Servo subwoofers. We'll be able to stream your favorite song using Qobuz, so stop on in and see how this system compares to the one you've got now.
Rich is doing a great job of documenting the rebuild of his refurbished audio room along with his system setup online.
