When I was 4, listening to children’s records on my denim-covered Sears turntable, I asked my mom if I could have one of her records. She said, “Here’s one that your dad never listens to ..” and handed me Meet The Beatles. I listened for an entire day before she showed me how to change the speed from 45rpm to 33rpm.
Sometimes finding a name for a product line is challenging, but also kinda fun. Now I realize names for our products will never be quite as outrageous as those required for a successful craft beer, but believe it or not, it did take a bit of thought.
As many of you may know, there was a fire that decimated one of the manufacturing plants at Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) in October. While there are many industries that rely on AKM for important parts, there hasn't been an industry that has been more disrupted than the high performance & professional audio spaces.
